external Domain with /ibayname1 /ibayname2
« on: September 21, 2010, 11:47:07 AM »
Hi I have a local network with the domain localnet.test this is only for local purposeses. Then I have a dyndns domain with xyz.homedns.org.
I would like to be able to access ibays in the way

xyz.homedns.org/ibay1
xyz.homedns.org/ibay2

etc.
This works only from localnet.test. For the homedns.org domain I can only specify a general ibay to which it defaults as soon as I enter xyz.homedns.org/ibay2 I cannot connect anymore.

There must be a way to get this done, as with the zarafa contrib xyz.homedns.org/zarafa works.
I would really appreciate some help on this.
Cheers

Delete domain xyz.homedns.org, then change your default domain from localnet.test to xyz.homedns.org.

I have only a hostname and not a complete domain with dyndns.org
If I do as you say, every other host who is not xyz.homedns.org cant be found from my Lan or I am missing a point?
Isnt there another way of adding the missing lines to httpd.conf?
