no access to server-manager and apache
« on: December 16, 2010, 07:48:28 PM »
Hi,

I don't think that it is a bug but a matter of wrong configuration.

The SME 8 server runs for a couple of month but now I can't reach the server-manger anymore. The complete apache seams not to run anymore.

I found these questions somewhere else:

I can launch these commands in putty without any feedback:
sv t /service/httpd-e-smith
sv t /service/httpd-admin

The files
/var/log/httpd/access_log
/var/log/httpd/error_log
/var/log/httpd/admin_error_log
/var/log/httpd/admin_access_log

are not there; only older versions.

The result of
 ls -lt /home/e-smith/ssl*/*

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1331 15. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.crt/mail.xxx.yyy.de.crt
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2599 15. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.pem/mail.xxx.yyy.de.pem
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  888 15. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.key/mail.xxx.yyy.de.key
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1331 14. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.crt/xxx.yyy.de.crt
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2599 14. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.pem/xxx.yyy.de.pem
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root  888 14. Feb 2010  /home/e-smith/ssl.key/xxx.yyy.de.key

any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

Stefan

Even though you think it is not a bug, troubleshooting SME Server 8 is done in the bugtracker. It should not do this out of the box, so please open a bug and post a reference to it here for future readers. Thanks in advance.
