A wiki with an easy editor
« on: October 03, 2010, 12:41:17 AM »
I have been using wikies like Mediawiki and Docuwiki for some time now.

I wonder: Does it exist some Wiki server software, (for SME or any Linux server) that works approx like www.wikispaces.com, where you don't need to edit the text in the wiki using the so called wiki syntax ?

(Just plane text, save, and that's it.)

Best reg Arne.

It's not plain text, it is a formatted editor, more like WYSIWYG.

I take it you already found this? It details on the issues and reasons why WYSIWYG is hard in wikis, but also lists some well known WYSIWYG editors who do try to cater for it, at least for mediawiki.

Moving to General Discussion where it is more appropriate.
