Topic: CACTI Problem

Hi Folks,

shame on me, I installed Cacti, worked fine, but at the first visit to http://myserver/cacti I supposed everything to be fine and clicked next and ok.
Now I'm not able to login to cacti with any username nor password.

I tried to follow the installationsteps again within the hope to get the initilization screen again, but bloody hell, it didn't appear.

Can anybody provide help to me?

how are you at editing mysql


heres what to do
Using a mysql editor go in to the cacti database go to the table called auth_users
and set the password for the admin to "142bb1aa1e6a5804" which is "cacti" then
login to cacti using admin and cacti

Hope fully this will work otherwise you have lots more to do.
