Topic: fetchmail: is there a way to switch off STARTTLS

My mail moved to a new external server. This server has problems finding the certificate. So fetchmail is told STARTTLS is available and then fails.
Is there a way to switch off STARTTLS in fetchmail? Or telling fetchmail only to look for an insecure password - until it is fixed at the external server?
