Just to let you know that SAIL 3.1 is now available as a Centos 5.5 .iso.  This is SAIL running on a regular Centos 5.5 platform (NOT SME Server).   Download and installation guide is here

Its very similar to SME server SAIL but it has some new panels to cater for things which SME provides automatically.  For example, we've had to integrate a complete firewall management component and a simple network manager.

If you have a spare machine or a  VM then please spin it up and give us your feedback.  Because this release has nothing directly to do with the SME server and as a matter of courtesy to the SME folks, who have shown us nothing but kindness, we will put up a new forum on our own site for Centos SAIL in the next few days.  Watch this space for the url.
