I repeat my question in another way: why?

jjejej, ok.

I am doing a small infraestructure at home with 2 servers, first server is synology NAS with http and mail services, and now my second server will be other machine with sme server including oracle and weblogic.

So I want to decouple services in diferent machines, this is why I want disable mail services.

now ok?  :-P

I've never done what you are suggesting however, this appears to be a similar request/idea

But be sure to check the admin mail box on your SME Server as vital information e-mails are sent there, for instance regarding update of the virus database and the status of the RAID arrays on your server.
