Your server should be configured to automatically sync. Are you running your SME Server as a virtual host perhaps?

Please answer my question:
Are you running your SME Server as a virtual host perhaps?

We do want to help you please be more specific as saying things don't work leaves us guessing. We are not behind your system and are depending on your information to help you.

What do you mean with:

is config is not work

What command do you execute? What output do you receive?

yes
Date and time configuration
   This is where you configure the date and time of this server. You may use an existing network time server or manually set the date and time for your time zone.

 Configure Network Time Server
  The server is periodically synchronizing the system clock to the network time protocol (NTP) server specified below. To synchronize to a different NTP server, enter a different hostname or IP address in the field below.
  Current setting: Mon Jul 25 00:44:28 2011

  NTP Server

My interpretation of mgb's current difficulty,
other than the language problem, is that he
needs to enforce NTP from the command line
as opposed to using the given browser
admin management panel?

http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5648
# db configuration show ntpd
ntpd=service
    MemLimit=12000000
    NTPServer=smeserver.pool.ntp.org
    SupportLargeDrift=enabled
    SyncToHWClockSupported=yes
    status=enabled

 You're right  piran

 See the problem
 Command to correct

db configuration show ntpd
ntpd=service
    MemLimit=12000000
    NTPServer=
    SyncToHWClockSupported=yes
    status=enabled
to fix ?
Change the ntp polling frequency:
 config setprop ntpd NTPServer north-america.pool.ntp.org
 expand-template /etc/ntp.conf
 signal-event reboot

is ok ?

db configuration show ntpd
ntpd=service
    MemLimit=12000000
    NTPServer=north-america.pool.ntp.org
    SyncToHWClockSupported=yes
    status=enabled
