I just installed the SME server but do not like the email client because it does not provide filters for filtering spam.  Any one know if there is a new version of the client and if it does have filters?  Any help would be greatly appreciated !

SME server comes with a basic E-mail server and Webmail Client if you want to add further functionality such E-mail filtering. You can use procmail which is sold ready to be installed at the URL above. Also you don't have to use the webmail client I personally prefer to use MS Outlook as my e-mail client for more robust functionality.
