rad_recv: Access-Reject packet from host
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:20:02 AM »
Hello!

I would like to authenticate a client/router against the SME Server radius but it
always rejects anyone. I did radtest on the sme shell itself and it shows the same error to any user
on the system.

Here's the result of radtest:
Sending Access-Request of id 144 to 177.7.x.x port 1812
        User-Name = "maptest"
        User-Password = "testmap"
        NAS-IP-Address = 255.255.255.255
        NAS-Port = 1812
Re-sending Access-Request of id 144 to 177.7.x.x port 1812
        User-Name = "maptest"
        User-Password = "testmap"
        NAS-IP-Address = 255.255.255.255
        NAS-Port = 1812
rad_recv: Access-Reject packet from host 177.7.x.x:1812, id=144, length=20

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I've already visited those links and followed through but achieved the same results.

The client has been added successfully but authentication to any user from that client is still Access-Reject.

testing it for localhost shows the same result for any user.
