Restoring Yum Repositories
« on: April 03, 2012, 10:31:11 AM »
Somehow I have buggered up the yum repositories in the db. Base URL appears to be missing for lots of entries. I tried signaling an event to initialize data bases but got the same result after a reboot, not good. I tried dumping a db show into a file and editing that file to restore the repositories but to no avail.

What should I copy from a working server to the non working server to get it going again.

You probably did not do anything wrong.
The repos have recently changed due to Centos4.x EOL and require user intervention, for fix see

Thanks mary, I thought it was me trying to get win7 machines to register. All working now :)

I appreciate your response.  It seems to be a real effort to even post on this forum these days.
