Sme8 and Contrib advanced samba

Im struggling to get my sme8b7 machine to join a windows 2k3 domain as listed in the wiki

all seems ok but when i run the command
wbinfo -u

it only returns the few local accounts that have been created. Not any infomation from the DC.

Any clues on where to look. Or is this a sme 7 only contrib.

But it doesnt list versions so i dont know which one i should be using

I have rejoined the domain and no longer have that error in the win 2k3 logs

in fact i see it logging in ok on the 2k3 box

I dont understand it seems to be working, but when i do

wbinfo -u I only get the local accounts.
I have the guest account disabled on the 2k3 box. Im assuming im missing a step but cant see where
