All of /home/e-smith/ is included in a backup and restore. All the sme server databases (db's) are in /home/e-smith/db and as that is dumped to file(s) in /home/e-smith/db/mysql during the pre-backup process, then those file(s) are also included in the backup and restored later, then all users, ibays & groups are restored, and as all ibays data is in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/ibayname/.... then all ibay data is backup up and restored too, and all users info too that is in user home folders in /home/e-smith/files/users/username/home and so on...
All the details about domains and so many other settings are also in the db folder so they are all backed up and restored too.
Take a look for yourself in /home/e-smith/db and see !

Affa has many features including full backup and restore (ie to the sme standard meaning of full, as per wiki inclusions), partial restore, as well as moving data between servers plus some more. It depends how you use it.

For those who may be reading for information. The one thing that I wasn't understanding, which would have ease all of my questioning and tention, AFFA does a pre-restore on the production server it is restoring, then it transfers all the data. It does not just transfer data during a full restore.
I was always under the assumption that AFFA either had to be installed on both production and backup to perform the necessary configuration changees, or the AFFA backup would just upload the files to the newly installed production server. That is not the case, it loads a pre-restore and automatically restarts when the transfer is finish, causing the production server to sort of reconfigure.
That was the answer I was looking for, so I wanted to share it with my fellow newbers.
This was very helpful as well as far as pre-restore
