Yes, I've being using it for a long time with my APC SUA 1500:

[root@guepardo ~]# rpm -qa |grep -i apcups
apcupsd-multimon-3.14.8-1
apcupsd-3.14.8-1
[root@guepardo ~]# uname -a
Linux guepardo 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Apr 17 17:08:10 EDT 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
[root@guepardo ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
SME Server release 8.0beta7
[root@guepardo ~]#

Is there some special way to get it installed into SME8? I am getting an UPC in about a week, and I was going with APC since their implementation and drivers are direct from one contrib, vs. general drivers and support for other brands like tripplite. Would you advise differently? Should I stick with APC or go with another brand?
