No package smeserver-hwinfo available.

No package smeserver-hwinfo available.

Installed SME 8.0 from CD on new hard drive from scratch.   All installed ok, however, I can't load any contrib .   I get a message "No package smeserver-(package name) available..

this is due the fact you don't have the appropriate repo
