Topic: failover path problem

hi,
I have a problem in configuring outbound routes with failover path ...
the primary path works correctly but the alternative path is not recognized/used
eg:
Dialplan: _3XX.
Path1: MV370
Path2: fx01 (portech)
Path3: voIP provider

if line 1 is busy (Got SIP response 486 "Busy Here" back from 192.168.100.251:5060), sail does not try to call using the failover path ... need some other special settings?

Hi There

SARK won't failover on a BUSY because it reasons that it really is BUSY so a redial makes no sense.  It will failover on CONGESTION, which means the pathway is the problem.

We do have a report we're working through that it doesn't fail over correctly on FXO lines no matter what, so we are investigating that.
