Any chance for CoovaChilli

Is there any development for the CoovaChilli contrib? Is there any other available contribs for an extra eth? I have free public wifi and would like to restrict access with something like Dansguardian, but I don't want any restriction or filtering on the clients that are connected through the domain.
Should I set up another SME server in gateway mode, and connect it to SME (1) from the WAN side, and connect the APs to the LAN side?

You do not need another router or sme server or eth port.
If you think carefully about setting up Dansguardian, you should be able to setup a default filtering for everybody, and then allow unfiltered access to IP's on the LAN.
Read the wiki article carefully AND read the information in the DG config files (install DG to read them).

You could also search the forums back a few years, for similar setup advices.
