Stefano, i was hoping it was a question. lol

Use of '?' is traditional in such cases. :-)

But then some people confuse us by using '?' when making a statement.

Create a new database in MySQL, grant persmissions, set password and flush (Again, in this example the database name is owncloud)
The instructions to install owncloud state this above.
Many of us have little to no experience with mysql databases but some some programs require them.
Could somebody suggest the commands.

I suggest you read the MYSQL Howto, link at top of these forums.
I also suggest you do a forum search on mysql, you will find numerous examples.

Inappropriate comment aimed at individuals is NOT tolerated by the administrators of the forums, so I suggest you immediately cease doing so.
As I read it, Charlie made a general comment about the use of correct punctuation, and how various users (including yourself) both correctly & incorrectly use & do not use the ? symbol, which is certainly not a valid reason for you to deride him.
Please search before asking, an answer may already exist.
The Search & other links to useful information are at top of Forum.

I found some posting on other projects and i will put them here.Right or wrong.
Maybe others will make any needed corrections.

The differences in sme 8 and 7 can be can be overwheming

The basics of the two seem to be not too difficult but anything much beyoud that is not very clear.
Because many things are the same or close to being the same.
The forums and wiki are combined and that makes it confusing the way it is structed.

An apology to Charlie will only be made if he promises to not be so negative.
I have so little  intolerance for his attitude and ghe comments he makes.

If Charlie wants to do 180 then i will do so as well and start over.

purvis, I guess you could be a little intollerant with me too :-)

believe me, you have no reason to behave like this.
