My esmith server seems to try to boot fine and then it freezes at the line:
Initializing USB controller (usb-uhci): [OK]
This server has been in use over 6 months without a hitch. The only 'oddity' I can report is that the last time I tried to reboot/restart it 'forced' a check of the hard drive and got frozen when the test was 65% complete. I did a hard reboot - I saw no other choice - and that is when the server began freezing at the USB line above.
I have a boot disk, but no clue what to do next...
