I want to distribution office 2003 with SME server, but i don't how how to do it or where to start it?. Does some one know how to star or fix it?

we don't know what "I want to distribution office 2003" means.. consider that many of us are using SME without any windows pc/server..

do you want to share office 2003 setup media?
do you want to share office 2003 applications?
are you thinking about remote desktop solution? terminal server?

i want to deploy office 2003 in my network. So if i deploy it they users get office 2003. I want this office on windows 7 system

there's no easy way to deploy windows' apps

and there's no such a feature on SME (and linux in general)

you could take a look at this: http://wpkg.org/
IIRC there should be such a feature in GLPI (search the wiki)

in any case, the easiest way is to share the setup media (search the forums with "share cd" keys) and setup office in each pc

How about a regserver runonce setting in the logon script to an ibay with the distribution media ?
There are many varitions on this theme (eg Novel ZEN)

This is something I am sure many sme users would find useful. I am no code jockey but I would be happy to do whatever I could towards making thi happen.

Some may consider this OT but it is part of the ancillary techniques that make SME useful in a production enviroment.

For those searching for a FREE alternative to software installation , please read wpkg.org site as suggested.
I've used it for 6 months: it's easy to implement and very effective!
Do not have a nice web interface neither have a report tool... but works 100%!
