Topic: SMEServer 8 domain attach

Hi guys! first post here....

I recently setup a SMEServer 8.0 and have been loving the features. I am trying to get the domain functionality working. I have setup a domain and when I try to attach a windows 7 PC to it I get an error saying that the domain does not exist. How can I verify my domain is setup properly?

Heres my settings:


Domain name   Brief description    i-bay   Domain DNS servers   Modify   Remove
sunset.local      Primary domain   Primary   Resolve locally   Modify

After reading I applied the registry hack and it now works. Is this supposed to be the case for every user I want to domain attach?
