Hi I have been asked to recover a SME server that the hardware as failed on. The problem is there has been now backup of this machine for some time.

Good thing is I can read the disk using the Virtual Voumes windows program.

Question?

What data do i need from this volume other than the esmith folder and whats the best way to get the data from the windows machine to a file that i can do a restore from?

before doing so, lease make a sure copy of your disk
