Topic: Port 42 ?

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a special FTP inside my Lan on port 42 in order to have specials users to access a huge FTP (120Go) instead of accessing my server's Ibays (8Go)

My problem is:

- when I use port forwarding on port 21, everything fines except that I won't access any longer my server FTP (on E-smith gateway)
- when I use port forwarding on port 42, the "secondary" FTP is very slow : 3mn to list directory and 3mn each time a user try to browse files/change directory....

How can I make this access via port 42 to be as fast as on port 21 ?
