SME9: Send emails to Internet from SMTP port (25) ?
« on: April 07, 2015, 04:14:11 PM »
Hello everyone,

I changed my SME7.4 server to SME9.0.
I've just a small problem about the using of SMTP (25) port.

The using  of SMTP (25) on SME7.4 from private network runned perfectly without login and send email to Internet and local domain.
The using  of SMTP (25) on SME9.0 from private network run alone to send email to local domain (and email client software receive a error message when it's a sended email to Internet).
Yes! A message in "server-manager" Proxy setting of SME is explicit :  The proxy only intercepts/blocks normal smtp (port 25) traffic.

I understand it's a security configuration but what's the procedure to restore a SME7.4 comportment with SME9.0 ?
How to configure SME to accept all on SMTP (25) port from local network (or all network because a firewall between SME and Internet block connection to port 25) ?
Where configuration file  to see for that ?

Thank you by advance.
Sincerely.
