PXE Boot contribs

Can the PXE boot contribs (including the TFTP ones) be used to boot IP phones? The phone guy at one of my clients is looking for a mechanism to boot the phones he's installing.

Yes it works fine - I have a load of Mitel & Cisco phones that boot their config with TFTP. Some get it locally, others remotely via VPN.

Stephane has just pulled the tftpd server contrib into SME v9 contribs so please test and let us know - http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9039

Many thanks for getting back to me. I'll see how far I get with the client's request and will let you know if I need anything further or get an opportunity to test on v9.
