hmmmm..... E-Smith 5.5 was installed, and after first rebooting  he wants to login (localhost login:). What is the root password ? I never asked to write password in the process of installation... What  i do wrong? :-)

It's the same as the "admin" password you picked during install.

Thanxx !:-)  But system didn't ask the password !!! Only was 2 questions. First - Which timezone, and the second - which keyboard :-( And after that was copyng files on hard-disk, restart, and then i must login :-((((

hi dimas,
i have the same problem, after installation i get a failure in the step :"check root filesystem ". the i will ask for a root password. I dont know the reason.

Dimas,

At the configuration stage you are at you need to type in what you want to be your admin/root password.

Nothing but the install hasn't run a script it should have. I had the same problem after my install but I put that down to me messing about with one of the install files. B-)
