Webmail login error

I have an SME 5.5 with update 2 installed. When I go to login to imp I get the following error:

This is the screen that should be asking me if I want to perform any maintenance operations. The server I am running on did at one time have imp 2.x on it as well. I have upgraded this server, by performing a new install, then restoring from tape. On the various version of SME since Dan Brown's imp install. I may be missing some table items. I don't know how to use mysql to get a look at the tables.

I installed a 2nd server without doing a restore and everything works OK. All help is appreciated.
