Topic: Multidrop problems with SME 5.5

I have just upgraded a server from V5.0 to V5.5. I have applied updates 1 and 2.

The server picks up its email from a multidrop box on its ISP server. Under 5.0, this worked. Now it doesn't work any more. I can manually pick up the emails through the gateway by using an Outlook Express email client. - So I know that emails are reaching the ISP's email box.

Why isn't SME 5.5 picking up multidrop emails any more? Does anybody have any idea as to where I should look to find the problem?

Oh.... I have also logged in as "root" and executed "/etc/startmail". No error messages, but no email comes through anyway.

Aah! Thanks for that! So I am not the only one having this problem. I thought that I was doing something wrong.

Have you reported this to Mitel / e-smith?

Yes.  Although I hope its not something I'm doing wrong!

Well, then two of us are doing the same thing wrong. I have emailed bugs@e-smith.com. Let's see what happens.
