Moving HW from 7.6 to 9.1 using AFFA. Possible?
« on: April 21, 2016, 12:44:18 PM »
Hello all. As mentioned in subject, is it possible to use https://wiki.contribs.org/Moving_SME_to_new_Hardware to move an old 7.6 based server into a newly installed 9.1? Has this been tested, or would it be more safe to move the 7.6 into a 8.2 first?

...lots of data (196 GB) in that old 7.6 machine. That's why I thought AFFA would be more preferable...

Sorry for being a bit slow maybe, but would would it be a good or a very bad idea to try out the AFFA approach with an old 7.6 containing almost 200 GB???
