Don't do it.As it is easy to generate letsencrypt certs there is no reason not to use them with https.smeserver-letsencrypt is in the testing repo but lots of us use it.Follow the instruction here (but use sme-test not reetp repo)https://wiki.contribs.org/Letsencrypt#Install_with_John_Crisp_contrib
I did this but did not find the contribs on the smetest repo.
Try the smedev repo/releases/9/smedev/x86_64/RPMS/smeserver-letsencrypt-0.4-1.noarch.rpm
Its the sme9 repo, sorry wasn't taking notice you were using sme8
