Topic: Mailsending through phpgroupware

Hi there, I have installed phpgroupware following the how-to and it works quite nice, but there is one thing I can´t explain.

When I try to send an e-mail it returns with the following error:

Your message could not be sent!
The mail server returned:

    [msg] => 0:
    [desc] => Connection to : failed - could not open socket.

)


When I try to send an e-mail through IMP webmail it is delivered successfully.

Anyone an idea how to get out of this pity?

I am having the same problem.  Anybody have any ideas?  I've looked through the archives but can't find anything that addresses this particular problem.
