Topic: Installation cannot recognize cdrom

Hi,

I am trying to install the sme server 5.5 om my old 120 Mhz. I have downloaded the iso-image, I have checked the checksum, I have burned the image on the cdrom.

On the server (now running Win2000) I have created a boot floppy. The boot works fine, but at somepoint I get an error message:

I Cannot find the SME Server CDROM in your CDROM drive. Please insert .....

The cdrom is readable from win2000, I can see that the installation program actually reads from the cdrom drive, but for some reason it cannot recognize the cd. The cd is master on the secondary ide-channel. I have tried to burn another image - same result.

Does anybody have any idea?
