Can't add machine to the domain!

Hi,

I run v5.12, blade 2 and samba 2.2.5-4, the server is running in domain mode.

There have never before been any problem to add w2k and XP machine to the domain, (XP need a changing in the registry) but for some reason can't it be done any more??

If I look in the log file i got error on file "/home/e-smith/accounts" it's not readable.
A look in the file system tells me that the file is "-rw------- 1 root root 7425 Sep 16 21:29 accounts".

Some suggestion??
