Anyone recommend a UK host who can run a SME Server?
« on: May 11, 2021, 02:06:15 PM »
My trusty old server is complaining it's out of date and I'm looking at putting together a new SME box. One of the possibilities I'm investigating is hosting a SME box remotely to get around some local issues I have (dynamic IP for one).

Does anyone have any experience with UK providers who can support an SME install?

Regards,
Jason.

Pretty well anyone who has CentOS as you can convert to SME.

However, I have some at Vultr and Digital Ocean. Direct SME installs.

Pretty easy with a bit of practice.... Make sure you set a dummy internal address and server/gateway to get firewalling up.

Sure there are others.

PS.... The point is they have UK IPs... Not that they are necessarily 'UK providers'.
