Hello there
I just failed to restore a V9.2 Backup to a V10 (with updates).
The backup was done in V9.2 server-manager (dar) workstation-backup by NFS on a NAS Drive.
What i did:
1.) i backuped by server-manager V9.2 over NFS and many dar files are shown in a folder
2.) i went to servermanager of V10 in the same network and configured NFS with same configs
but now V10 Backup-Manager says: mount.nfs: Protocol not supported host not available
Then i adapted an usb Stick with standard formate i guess NTFS and copied the backup folder from NAS to my USB Stick on a Win10 computer. I puttet that USB Stick to the V10 Server and tried to mount it.
I failed again no way to mount it.
Shuld i bether format the usb drive on windows on FAT32 ? For me unlogic because under NTFS the dar files are lower than 800MB each.
Migratehelper looks for me little complicate as i am not so good in english and i dont want to stop any services from productive server while backuping.
I ll apreciate any help - thank you in advance.
