I'm running Win XP.
Please don't do that. XP is seriously out of date - even worse than v9.x
And you cannot connect by default from XP to Koozali SME because XP doesn't have SMB 3.
On GNU/Linux when I click on the computer ->Network the server isn't listed.
Better referring to the particular flavour of Linux - in your case Mint - as there are many differences.
As far as browsing I think Nemo uses avahi for discovery and doesn't see Koozali SME when browsing.
You can can correct direct with "Connect to server" with the right settings (I just tested on mine)
Server: Server name
Type: Windows share
Share : share/ibay name
User Name: your user
Password: you password
That will connect.
Or if you have many clients then automate as JP suggested (FWIW we use SSSD from via the wiki page)
