Used to use K9 but after 5.600 they destroyed the best feature which was the overview page because the developer didn't want it, despite mountains of complaints and promises of 'maybe'. Now looks just like the Gmail app and sucks.

Old APKs for 5.600 still available.....

https://github.com/thundernest/k-9/releases/download/5.600/k9-5.600.apk

Now owned effectively by Thunderbird and will become Thunderbird mail eventually.

FairEmail - pretty nice. Open source, but good to buy the dev a coffee!!

1. Read the Manual
2. Read the Wiki
3. Don't ask for support on Unsupported versions of software
4. I have a job, wife, and kids and do this in my spare time. If you want something fixed, please help.

I've been using 'Bluemail' for the last couple of years and been happy so far. I haven't used or tried anything else apart from one of the supplied apps on an early OPPO android phone so can't say I've made any extensive comparison.
