A week is a long time in development.....

So here's the v11 bug matrix.

I actually made some commits this week! Scared as hell of git and koji, but getting there :-)

You can see we have a server-manager!

We still have some generic services to get running correctly though, and they then block other stuff.

So quite often you get a sort of cascade - one gets fixed that then fixes, or enables fixes, to other stuff too.

Moving from yum to dnf is a big jump that JP has been working on. Upgrading to new version of Maria DB is a handful too as we don't want to break all your DBs :-)

We haven't even got near the installer yet - we literally install a clean Rocky8 VM and then yum install smeserver packages and see what breaks :-)

There are also plenty issues around authentication/LDAP etc. There a small band of testers who are trying to find issues as we go. PLEASE come and help. You DO NOT have to be a code guru. Just a bit of time and patience.

Install, watch logs, bug report, or just tell us. Simple as that. We can help you get going on this so feel free to DM me for a Rocket.Chat account where all the dev chat (and a bit of fun) happens.

To those of you who already have an account please say hello and join in - we have a lot of accounts that are there but not used. Are people scared? We don't bite!!

Please make sure you add your 10c worth on the webmail conversation here

Essentially Horde 6 is not ready and Horde 5 is way long in the tooth and requires very old versions of PHP too run.

We feel it is time to find another basic webmail system. So add your thoughts please.

Have a great weekend, and we hope to see you lending a hand.
