We still have some generic services to get running correctly though, and they then block other stuff.
So quite often you get a sort of cascade - one gets fixed that then fixes, or enables fixes, to other stuff too.
Moving from yum to dnf is a big jump that JP has been working on. Upgrading to new version of Maria DB is a handful too as we don't want to break all your DBs
We haven't even got near the installer yet - we literally install a clean Rocky8 VM and then yum install smeserver packages and see what breaks

We feel it is time to find another basic webmail system. So add your thoughts please.
