Time flies when you are having fun!
A little news.
After a few months of testing and fixing some nasty gotchas, particularly with MariaDB updates, we think we are getting close to a Beta release. We have also just been watching the test servers we have running to see if there is anything fugly happening.
We are not adding any new features now - just refining existing things and trying not to break stuff on updates.
When will a Beta get released? That is down to JP and Trevor. When it is ready.
Once we hit Beta that will be it for main development. Anything new or fancy will have to wait. We know there are several things that we haven't had time to do but they are on the list. eg DNS/IPv6/firewalls etc.
I have been busy trying to build a new AdminLTE based template for the new Mojolicous based server manager. I am trying to work on some consistency and hopefully better responsive design.
It badly needs testing so ask me if you want to help.
Once Beta is out we will look at Contribs.
I'll say it again - those that help and dig in will get their favourites fixed faster.
We have over 90 users on our Rocket.Chat server but regrettably like here, there are a number of lurkers and very few 'do'ers.
And lots who log in, think it is all too complicated, and then disappear again
Right now we just need people to click stuff and tell us if it breaks!!! SIMPLE
