Divert Emails Received from a Specific Email Address
« on: March 31, 2026, 01:58:21 PM »
guys please if possible can you point me in the right direction

i have an SME 10 Server getting all mail from a CATCHALL Account

All mail IS being delivered to the SME Server

My question is that i need to DIVERT any Email coming from a Third Party to be Delivered to a Specific Mailbox and NOT to the Intended SME Server User Mailbox.

In other words if any mail messages is meant for a user on my SME Server eg: abcuser@mysmeserver.com from company users@anothercompany.com, i need the messages to NOT be delivered to abcuser@mysmeserver.com but to xyzuser@mysmeserver.com on the SME Server including ALL Messages from company *@anothercompany.com

if you understand what i mean.

sorry for the explanation

any help greatly appreciated

fwiw
From what I can understand you want to divert any email from *@anothercompany.com to a specific user and not to the original intended recipient.
Reading the two contribs you referenced above It looks like either would work. Email-Management at first glance seems simpler to configure what you want from the web interface and Mailsorting would require you to configure from the command line.

Try one and see what happens.

@sages thank you for your reply

From what I can understand you want to divert any email from *@anothercompany.com to a specific user and not to the original intended recipient. - Yes that is correct

i have installed both contribs: Email-Management and Mailsorting

Global mailfiltering rules are = maildrop

there just does not seem to be an option using the Email=-management contrib to create a rule that i require

any ideas on what i am doing wrong or what you recommend i do to divert any email from *@anothercompany.com to a specific user and not to the original intended recipient.

thank you again

guys i think i have this done

i have used the Email Management Contrib - https://wiki.koozali.org/Email-Management

I am Using the " maildrop " Global Email Delivery Option

Open the Email Management Option on the Menu - Configuration > E-mail Managment
under Global Click on " Modify "

Global.
Mail is being Sorted with Maildrop.

Modify global mailfiltering rules and system settings.

Individual accounts.
Now in the Modify Option you will see the Following

Email Sorting
Make a system wide change, enable procmail or maildrop, Note, procmail and maildrop will deliver mail according to the local, forward or both settings after any sorting

Global Email Delivery
maildrop

Global mail rules
Any rules you create will be placed before the users rules.

Click here to add another procmail rule. You currently have 0 rules.

Click on the " Click here " Option to Create a Rule

First Test: = e-mail address FROM:

               First Criterion = *@anothercompany.com

Action: " forward mail "
           Folder or Address = " smeuser@smeserver.com "

NOW CLICK ON " SAVE "

That's it.

Hope this works

Thank you to all the people on the Forum and the Help received, Thank you, Much Appreciated
