SME Server can periodically synchronize the system clock to a network time protocol (NTP) server

I tried this earlier in the year but I am in a part of the country that does not go on daylight savings time. We are on on Mountain Standard Time all year long, no switching.

If I link to a time server in Calgary Alberta it switches at daylight saving time. Should I try to link to a master time server?

Thanks

Dave

I don't think altering the time server you connect to will have any affect as UTC is what is sent from the server. Your machine is also running UTC internally and applies any required offset for your timezone and daylight savings when asked to display the time to a user. You need to find the correct time zone file for your location (there are lots available...) or prehaps roll your own.
