Topic: HELP. How to install add-on / ekstra features ?

Hi..

I hope that you can help me with a problem regarding Install new features to Esmith.

I want to use my server to gateway AND port forwarder. Example, port80 and 21 shold be forwarded to another server min my network.

I have found some add-ons, that sould make an ekstra catagori ind the administrations menu. I just dont know how to install it?

The files are
dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-4.src.rpm
dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-4.noarch.rpm
install.sh

Login as root, then type:

rpm -ivh dmc-mitel-portforwarding-0.0.1-4.noarch.rpm

That's all there is to it.  You won't need the src rpm unless you plan on modifying the source code.

I have the files on a floppy.. Is that the same, I must write ?

It is the same with floppy or HD!

Use http://www.star-support.com/downloads/mitel/howto/rpm-howto.htm to install the "System Update" addon. Then you can install RPMs from Server Manager without having to bother with commandline stuff.
