Topic: qmail/IMP very slow...

Cruising along fine with just a few users running IMP in SME server V5.1 and one day the whole thing gets very, very SLOW....

All the other server services are running fine.
 
I checked out the user mail logs, etc. in the e-smith server manager and all seems within normal parameters - what could be wrong?

This happened to me as well, in my case it turned out ntop had started to use 96%+ CPU utilization.  This wouldn't let IMP generate any pages.  I killed ntop and everything came back to normal.  Check your system with the "top" command froma  command prompt and see if anything looks out of line.

thanks - ntop not running.  top shows nothing grabbing too much proc.
