Topic: Printer managering PLease HELP!

HI!

How to manage user acess for net printers in E-smith 5.5, that abaut 5 persons have acess to Printer 1 and 10 dont but have scess to printer 2


How do that, becouse someone is sending some kind off mass (heroglifs) to printer and its print about 10 to 200 pages all ower the day!

anyones got a good way of doing this I'd be interested in hearing about it as well.

I dont know how to do this out of the box as it were - but you could try setting the default printers by a logon script and remove all else that do not match the required ones..... thats how i managed my printers at my current employers.  have a look at www.kixtart.org for more help and ideas.. i use win2k as my print server but i dont see why it shouldnt be possible to acheive what you desire with the ESSG
