Hi,

Just like to know how does one force a manual mail download either in Multi-drop or ETRN mail mode. Currently I am running Multi-Drop (One pop mail account)

Log in at the console (or via putty or your terminal software of choice).

Issue the command :-

/etc/startmail

You only have to execute the fetchmail command (with the same syntax than in the fetchmail script in the /etc directory)...
If you want, you can try some other options with this command and you will be able to test the mail access with ETRN, ODMR, ATRN or multidrop (see man fetchmail on your server).
