Topic: POP3 OK in 5.5 not 5.6??

Hello,

I have an SME system that was at 5.5 working (apparently) properly. User account joe could receive email via webmail and POP3 (Outlook) at domain www.yyy.com (mail host mail.yyy.com) no problems. The host has a dynamic IP which is updated and looks ok.

Upgraded to 5.6 beta today. User joe can now receive mail via webmail but Outlook complains that it cannot access mail.yyy.com.

Any help/pointers would be appreciated.

5.6 is a beta release. If you find any problems with it, you should report them to bugs@e-smith.com, using [5.6] in the subject line (as I believe it says in the Release notes).

Will do...just not sure yet whether it is a bug or some finger problem of mine. I assume from your response - bug??

I don't know. But maybe if you supply enough information in a bug report (concerning a possible bug) then we might be able to tell. So please provide a detailed bug report.
