Topic: Modem won't dial

My modem picks up a line and then starts hand shaking without dialing, I have tried ATDT as the init string.

I thought there may be a config file containing a dialing string that I could edit

Try minicom from the command promt and manually dialling out?

I used minicom sucessfully using ATDT ######## but I noticed when I set SME-Servive to connect automaticly and then opened minicom again I could see the dialing string as they were sent and SME only sends ATD not ATDT can I change this string and where.

How can I change the modem Dialing String
ie configuration file

You will probably want to SSH to your server and login as admin and re-run the configuration, just changes the modem init string there?
