Topic: No more mails after restore from desktop

Hallo all,

SME 5.6 is installed flawlessly.

The restore from SME 5.5 is done right after this fresh install (there are several users, ibays...)

The problem: no mails could reach any recipients, and there are no errors return to senders. Through pop3 or webmail, the sme server always answers "no new messages".

Below is some lines from logfile smtpfront-qmail/current:

It means that my server has received mails normally, does it ?

Any ideas how to fix ? Thanks in advance.

Reading the description of 5.6, it changes the mail directories.  I would try installing a fresh 5.5 server, run your 5.5 restore, then upgrade 5.5 to 5.6.

Why not run upgrade from the beginning?

Yeah of course it should be clever to make an upgrade The harddisk had to be changed, that's why I wanted to install 5.6

News: everything is working fine now, after "reRPM" "amavis" from pagefault.org.

I didn't mention that I installed this virus scan on 5.5. Maybe it was the reason ?
