Topic: adding parameters on shell environment

To All,

         Right now I am installing the sophos antivirus, can anyone help do this:

   Change system settings
       1. Add /usr/local/sophos/mmsmtp/bin to the PATH variable.
       2. Add /usr/local/sophos/mmsmtp/man to the MANPATH variable.
       3. On Linux systems, at the command prompt (in bash), enter
             export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib
This command can be put in the configuration dot file (for example .profile, .bashrc).

          I think this PATH should be add to all shell environment of all users but I dont know how to do this and point it to use the MAILmonitor for SMTP antivirus by SOPHOS.
