Hi,

Is it possible to get the SME server to create and share user home drives with the correct security policies or do I have to create an Ibay for each user who need a home dir, on the server ?

By default, the user's home folder is shared only to that user and root/admin.  You should not have to create an ibay for each user.

Ok.. but I have created 2 users on my sme 5.6 server, and I can only see the following shares when I browse the server from my windows client:
admin, Primary, Printers and Faxes

So can you tell me what I need to do ?

I have created the users through the "server-manager->Collaboration->Users" don't know if there is another/better way to do it ?

Thanks

The user folders are not browsable by others.  Create a local login on your computer called 'admin' and use the same password as root on SME.  Login as admin and click start/run the type:  \your_sme_name\username

You have to do this once for every userfolder you wish to access (as admin).  Your computer should remember these folders the next time you browse SME.

You need to log into the windows client with the username and password you created.

See the link I put in my last posting.  This will give you access to all home folders and ibays.
